The "enterprise digital assistant" is a PDA used for corporate applications. IT departments looking to cost-effectively manage these devices at the edge of the network have a new best friend. Wyse Technology, the only major player with focused expertise in server-centric computing, will be an exhibitor at the 2003 Gartner Symposium/ITxpo in Orlando, FL from October 19-24, 2003. Located in booth #619, Wyse will announce new enhanced functionality to the Wyse Rapport device-management platform. Attendees will be able to view demonstrations of Rapport, which manages both thin clients and PDAs, and learn how a single management platform decreases total cost of ownership (TCO) as well as the amount of time needed to manage complete thin-client networks from a central location.
